Speakers

Professor, Division of Hospital Medicine University of California San Francisco
I am currently a Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). I previously served as the Division Chief for the Division of Hospital Medicine at UCSF Health and as an Associated Program Director for the UCSF Internal Medicine Residency. I am currently focused on patient care and clinical teaching. I have an academic interest teaching how to teach - that is, helping residents and faculty be more effective educators. I also am interested in community-acquired pneumonia, keeping updated on the medical literature, and advancing the field of hospital medicine. I havebeen engaged on a national level with hospital medicine and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM).
